Welcome Nia McKenney

We are delighted to welcome Nia McKenney to the St. Luke’s community as our new Parish Administrator and Director of the Market Street Pantry! Nia will officially begin her ministry with us on August 18, 2026.

Nia brings a wealth of gifts, talents, and experience to these important roles, and we are excited for the many ways her leadership will support the life of our parish and strengthen the ministry of the Market Street Pantry. Her presence will be a wonderful addition to our shared work of hospitality, service, and care for our neighbors.

Please join us in giving Nia a warm St. Luke’s welcome as she begins this new chapter with us. We are grateful to have her joining our community and look forward to all that lies ahead!

A note from Nia:
Hi! My name is Nia McKenney, and I’ll be joining you from Columbus. I am a quiet creative—I spend most of my free time crafting, singing, playing games, hanging out with my cat Idi, and sitting outside.

My education is in music with a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Music and a Master’s degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Music Technology. I’ve spent most of my career so far working in libraries across Ohio, and have also developed web platforms, written digital learning content, and created and edited media—mostly podcasts and graphics. I am a strong and organized supporter and always aim to help my communities feel heard and grounded in moving forward together. I am so pleased to be joining you all at St. Luke’s.
