Display, demonstration, and discussion: "Ikebana as a Spiritual Practice". Flower arrangements from three schools of Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). Kathie will give a presentation of history and development of Ikebana, and invitation to practice spiritual refreshment, and opportunity to consider flowers, leaves, branches as companions and voices of Spirit whose seasonal presence reminds us to slow down, observe, expect God to speak through Creation. Reflection on new ideas and how to implement them for your personal practice.
