Final Book Club This Year

St. Luke’s Book Club looks ends another year of reading and sharing an exciting selection of books with our members and friends of St. Luke’s. As in years past, we will meet in the Undercroft, but at a new time, 1:30 pm, and lighter fare of simple nibbles/treats instead of lunch. The open conversations of the selected books will continue! Our theme, this year is “Women in Their Own Words”, with a range of memoirs written by women, all of whom have had an out-sized impact on society. All members as well as friends of St. Lukes are welcome. Please email your intent to participate to the church office at office@stlukesgranville.org

Be Ready When the Luck Happens: A Memoir
Ina Garten

Here, for the first time, Ina Garten presents an intimate, entertaining, and inspiring account of her remarkable journey. Ina’s gift is to make everything look easy, yet all her accomplishments have been the result of hard work, audacious choices, and exquisite attention to detail. Ina brings her past and her process to life in a high-spirited and no-holds-barred memoir that chronicles decades of personal challenges, adventures (and misadventures) and unexpected career twists, all delivered with her signature combination of playfulness and purpose.
