News From The Friendly Visitor Crew

About six years ago, St. Luke's embarked on a program to ensure that members who were unable to attend services in person, would stay in contact with the parish through a Friendly Visitors outreach program. The concept was that volunteers from the church would spend time with people living at Otterbein, or Middleton, or those confined to their homes. With the coming of the pandemic, the program was shelved. And though Covid is still among us, vaccinations have made it possible to restart the program. Friendly visitors make calls, spend time sharing stories, and at special seasons of the year deliver gift bags of the type pictured here.
