Black High School Student Scholarship Opportunity

Are you a Black high school graduate living in the Diocese of Southern Ohio (including Licking County) who has been admitted as a full-time student to an accredited school (vocational or technical school, community college, or four- year college)?

St. Luke’s Becoming Beloved Community is publicizing the diocese’s MEIT (Minority Empowerment Initiative Trust) Scholarship

Black high school graduates living in the Diocese of Southern Ohio, who have been admitted as a full-time student to an accredited school (vocational or technical, community college, or four-year college) are eligible to apply for a grant. Priority is given to those students with the greatest economic need, as judged by the MEIT Board. You need not be an Episcopalian or attend an Episcopal Church to apply. The MEIT Scholarship is The MEIT Scholarship award totals $3,000 and 10-13 scholarships are awarded each year. Priority is given to those students with the greatest economic need.
