Coffee: Grounds For Discussion Is Back

We have missed the fellowship that is integral to our weekly Sunday morning Coffee:Grounds for Discussion, so the Adult Education Committee is trying something new. Unable to meet in person and unwilling to wait any longer to share in conversation, we've decided to try a Zoom Coffee: Grounds for Discussion

Fear not. This will not be a chaotic free-for-all! Fr. Michael will pose several reflective questions related to the sermon or readings to gently guide our conversation. We will talk in small break-out groups to keep the conversation more intimate. We know that this is not the ideal way to gather together and learn from each other but, this is church NOW. We feel we must move forward the best we can and create opportunities for fellowship when we see an opportunity. We will meet at 11:30 am on Sunday, September 13. Look for the Zoom link in an email from St. Luke’s. Please email Ashlin if you have any questions about how to use the link.  Here are this week's three reflective questions.

  1. How prevalent are resentments within the context of the church?

  2. What do you think is the hardest part in the process of forgiving?

  3. Does true forgiveness really involve forgetting?
