Give Thanks Today! Virtual 5K

Who knows how this year’s Granville Turkey Trot will look? Will it be safe to gather as a crowd in the streets of Granville on Thanksgiving morning? 

We don’t have the answers but what we do know is that we are facing new challenges and that the need for food in our county is greater than ever. 

Those of us who help to put on the Turkey Trot every year don’t want to miss an opportunity for our community to come together in the spirit of continued support for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County (FPNLC).

Because of this the Turkey Trot is sponsoring a virtual 5K that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. Run, jog or walk on the road, a treadmill, track or trail, at your own pace and time it yourself. Participating in virtual races can be done alone, with family or with friends; being sure to practice social distancing!

No matter where you are in the world, how you complete your miles, get out there and enjoy yourself! As always, all of the proceeds will be donated to the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.

What: This is a 5K virtual race to benefit the FPNLC

When: Complete your race any time between June 20th-30th
* Performance activity masks can be picked up June 6th and 13th at the Granville Farmer’s Market and bibs can be downloaded. For those out of town we will ship to you.

Where:  You choose the course and time yourself (reporting your finishing time to us).

Why:  Because this is our way of helping those in need, getting out and enjoying the community we live in and who knows if we’ll be able to do it in November!

Cost:  The price is $35 and that includes your mask.
