Worship Ministry team
This team, including members of the Altar Guild, assists Pastor Elizabeth in planning and providing meaningful (and sometimes colorful!) worship services at St. Luke’s. The team collaborates on music, prayers, readings, and ways to connect the teachings of Christ to our everyday experiences – Jesus is present everywhere in the world!

Special services include Ash Wednesday, Holy Week and Easter services, Blessing of the Backpacks, Blessing of the Animals (St. Francis Day) Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), Winter Solstice Service, and more. Bring us your ideas!

Internal Ministries team
This team focuses on supporting and celebrating our church community. They help plan our coffee hours and educational opportunities, Parish potlucks, Wise Women wine nights, pool parties, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and more.  The Prayer Shawl ministry is part of this team and the Pastoral Care ministry is a valued partner.

External Ministries team
One of St. Luke’s hallmarks is our commitment to service. The External Ministries team supports our members as we move out into the community, serving as Christ’s hands in the world. These teams help support the Market Street Pantry that supplies food to the hungry in Newark; the Granville Turkey Trot, our annual Thanksgiving Fun Run that raises considerable funds for the Licking County Food Pantry; and the Denison college ministry supporting our local college students.

Members of St. Luke’s also cook and serve meals at the local homeless shelter, support sustainability through programs and recycling, support the Licking County Humane Society, and more. Have a cause you want to support? Come to us with your ideas!

Joy-filled Growth Ministries team
This team is focused on expanding the absolute joy we find in Christ and each other! The Joy-filled Growth team helps us welcome people who are new to our community, and plans fun activities that members and their friends can participate in. Some ideas include movie nights, nature walks, game nights, ice cream socials, supporting the Pelotnia Bike Race and much more. Come to us with your ideas!

Historic Preservation Committee
Keeps our history alive, plans commemorative celebrations and maintains our inventories of artifacts and archives.

Pastoral Care
Supports the clergy in helping to provide care and support to members. The parish prayer ministries are a vital part of this committee as are the Lay Eucharistic Visitors.

Property, Building & Grounds Committee
Has the responsibility for the maintenance of all of the church property.

Stewardship Committee
Oversees fund raising events, educates the parish on giving opportunities such as estate planning, and coordinates the yearly pledge campaign.
