Cooking for the homeless at St. Vincent Haven

We have four groups who cook. If you want to get involved by cooking, baking, transporting or serving, contact Mary Raysa at mary@theraysacompany.com.

Faith Mission Dinners

Quarterly, the people of St. Luke’s cook for and serve dinner to about 300 people at this shelter for persons in Franklin County who are homeless. Sign up in the Undercroft to take home a roaster to prepare food (ingredients provided), bake cookies (many, many are needed and appreciated), and/or to go along and serve.

Our Particular Community

The Food Pantry Network of Licking County was incubated at St. Luke’s, Welsh Hills School had its first home in one of our buildings, and our parish was one of the first places locally where people could recycle paper, glass and plastics.

We continue to find ways to seek and serve Christ in all persons, and we take very seriously the vow from our Baptismal Covenant, “Will you respect the dignity of every human being?” In serving others, we claim no superiority. We strive to walk together with others as fellow seekers.

We are a people trying to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who loved the outcast, healed the hurting, and called us into a way of life that seeks to help us become more trusting, more courageous, and more loving as we grow into the wonderful mystery of our relationship with God and one another.

Come worship with us a few times and see what you think.

Fundraisers we present and/or participate in:

The Granville Turkey Trot for the Food Pantry Network of Licking County

The Great Granville Garage Sale to benefit the Licking County Coalition of Housing

Beer and Barbeque at the B&B benefiting the Back to School program of the New Beginning’s Domestic Violence Center
