Middle School Youth Group generally meets the fourth Sunday of each month from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Check your weekly email, This Week at St. Luke’s.

St. Luke’s middle schoolers have their own group! And we have a ball during our activities. The middle school youth group is headed up by Sally McClaskey with assistants Harry Birch, Kim and Henry Zaborniak and of course Father John Kauffman keeps us headed in the right direction.

On Sunday October 23 the group met at Devine farms on US 40. What fun!! Ralph Devine treated us to a hay ride, tour of the farm and a little education about farming and crop rotation. The Devine farm closed for the season that afternoon and they gave us free run of the place when their last customers drove away. Thanks Mrs. and Mr. Devine! Twelve of our cutest, most intelligent and greatly talented middle school students and their friends enjoyed a bonfire and then roasted hot dogs. When the coals died down we had s’mores and hot cider. The highlight of the evening was the corn maze. It was dark. The goblins were roaming the fields and we took our flashlights into the corn maze. We became, “The Children of the Corn.”
